Beyond the Tuna legacy, Jaston Williams has written and performed several critically acclaimed, original one-man shows.


He has performed his autobiographical I'm Not Lying, in various historical theatres and name venues across the country. Cowboy Noises, Camping With Gasoline, Blame it on Valentine, Texas, and his Maid Marian in a Stolen Car are among his most popular shows, and he has appeared with friends Joe Ely, Kimmie Rhodes, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Jo Carol Pierce in their performance piece, Is There Life after Lubbock? 

Fiction and Creative Non-Fiction

In 2019, Williams completed a small town coming-of-age novel set in the turbulent late1960s entitled The Fool in the Daylight Moon. His second book project, a collection of essays, is also slated for publication in 2020.
